Main Cast Fees & Registration 

(9-18 years old, 18 year old must be enrolled in high school or equivalent)

All fees must be paid for your child to participate in rehearsals unless prior arrangements have been made with the Executive Production Manager.

• City Registration Fees - $90 (non-refundable), payable to the City of Buena Park. This fee covers creative staff fees, cost for rehearsal space, and cost for the performance venue. Main cast fees can be made online ($90). The City link is available after auditions.  This fee needs to be paid within 15 days of the first mandatory parent meeting.
• BPYT Participation and Materials Fee - $200 (non-refundable), payable to Friends of BPYT (see the Executive Production Manager if payment arrangements need to be made). This fee covers costumes (except shoes), sets, props, cast shirts, scripts, and other program expenses.

The City registration fees must be paid within 15 days of the first rehearsal. BPYT participation fees must be paid by 3/28 unless prior arrangements have been made with the Executive Production Manager.  Mandatory City Main Cast Registration and Parent/Guardian/Volunteer City Registration. QR code is provided with all other codes at the mandatory first parent meeting.

Mandatory Volunteer Requirements/Obligations

Parent volunteers are needed to put on a high caliber production! We want you to complete your volunteer requirements. We provide a variety of opportunities, such as assisting with sets, fundraising, costumes, props, and taking home projects to meet the requirements. These volunteer requirements include 20 pre-show hours and  2 tech nights + 4 shows. (18years+ must fill out the City Volunteer Registration) 

Volunteer ACH Deposit Form (Main Cast Only)

• First $200 - Parent(s) are responsible for tracking and submitting  volunteer hours on the google form you are provided with at the mandatory first parent meeting. Once you complete the responsibilities before load-in you will not be charged the fee.  
• The second $200 -  ACH form is returned upon completion of 2 tech nights and 4 shows. 
• Volunteers 18 years and older must complete fingerprinting through the City of Buena Park specifically for this program, if you have not done so for a prior show. This is free and easy to complete. Fingerprinting must be complete within 15 days of production or you will not be eligible to volunteer and will forfeit your volunteer fees. 
• If you have a child in the junior cast and a child in the main cast, you are exempt from the second volunteer obligation / fee requirement because your volunteer requirement will be during tech week and shows while you are volunteering your time in the junior room. 

Volunteer hours are tracked through Google Form.

Fingerprint/Livescan 

Forms will be distributed at the first parent meeting. ALL Volunteers and Parents/Guardians are required to fill out a release form and those 18 years of age or older must be fingerprinted at Buena Park Police Department specifically for this program. This is in accordance with City and program requirements. Please be advised that the City also requires all volunteers to register via the city portal, link will be sent out as soon as it’s available.

Fingerprinting must be completed within 15 days from the first rehearsal or you will not be eligible to volunteer and will be required to pay the volunteer fees. 

Junior Cast Fees & Registration

(5-8 years old)

All fees must be paid in order for your child to continue in rehearsals unless prior arrangements have been made with the Executive Production Manager.

• City Fees & Registration (junior cast members and parents must register online with no fee within 15 days of the first rehearsal) 
• BPYT Participation and Materials Fee (Junior & Main Cast) 

$200 payable to Friends of BPYT, due now (see the Executive Production Manager if payment arrangements need to be made.) This fee covers costumes (except shoes), sets, cast shirts, and other program expenses. 

• Parents/Guardian/Volunteers 18 years and older must complete fingerprinting through the City of Buena Park specifically for this program, if you have not done so for a prior show. This is free and easy to complete. Fingerprinting must be completed within 15 days or you will not be eligible to volunteer and will forfeit your $200 fee. NOTE: all volunteers will also need to register with the City of Buena Park.

This is a city and program requirement, designed to protect all cast members.  Please see the Production Team for City form. Please be advised that the City will now require that all volunteers register via the City portal.

• Callbacks: By invitation Only, 3/3 and 3/4 from 6:30pm-9:00pm, no callbacks for Junior Cast
• 1st Rehearsal / Parent Meeting / CT & PT Introduction: March 7
• Rehearsals Main Cast:
  • Tuesdays/Thursdays (6:30pm – 8:30pm) 
  • Saturdays (10am – 4pm) 
  • Rehearsal schedule subject to change due to room availability
• Rehearsals Junior Cast:
  • Thursdays (6:30pm – 8:00pm) 
  • Saturdays (2pm – 4pm) 
  • Rehearsal schedule subject to change due to room availability

• Load In:  May 30 (9:00am - 2:00pm)
• Lighting Cue and Spiking of Sets: May 31 (2:00pm - 9:00pm)
• Tech Week: June 1-4 (5pm – 10pm)
• Shows:
  • June 5, 6, 7 and June 12, 13, 14
  • Friday and Saturday night evening shows at 7pm (5 pm call time)
  • Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00pm (12:30pm call time on Saturday, 1:00pm call time on Sunday)
